Loepfe Brothers Ltd has successfully modernised its expense processes. The introduction of Edi – Expense Intelligence has created an integrated, user-friendly and transparent solution that makes everyday life easier for employees while increasing efficiency and data quality.

Initial Situation

Loepfe Brothers Ltd launched a project with a clear goal: to modernise expense processes, increase employee satisfaction and create greater transparency in expense spending. The focus was on modernising and automating the accounting processes for expenses and credit card transactions. The previous expense solution, which had recently been taken over by a larger provider, was no longer able to meet the new requirements. The company was looking for a solution that would harmoniously combine document, personnel, financial and payroll management. In addition, more reliable and service-oriented support was a key decision-making criterion.

Solution

After thorough evaluation, Loepfe Brothers Ltd opted for the Edi expense solution, which impressed with its user-friendliness, automation and seamless integration options. An important element was the integrated credit card centre, which automatically records and categorises transactions and makes them available for processing immediately.

Technically, Edi was synchronised directly with the SwissSalary HR and payroll software to ensure a consistent database – especially for master data and payroll accounting. In addition, a connection to SAP was implemented, allowing expenses to be posted automatically and error-free in the central ERP system.
